Community support is essential to the school’s continued success. Program fees and rental income cover much of the operating cost of paid programs. What that revenue does not cover is the cost of operating Maritime Adventures and ACCESSAIL, outreach programs that enrich our community immeasurably.

It is also important to note that the Duxbury School District does not reimburse DBMS for the DHS sailing team’s use of our facilities and boats during the spring season. Similarly, although fall sailing and high school rowing are club sports for which students pay tuition, fees do not fully cover the use of facilities, or maintenance and replacement of boats and equipment. The Annual Fund and proceeds from special events such as Opening of the Bay fill these budget gaps.

Purchase and wear DBMS logo apparel.
