HOSPITALITY:
___Soliciting donations or providing refreshments for various events, such as Family & Alumni races, Awards night, staff cookout, classic boat day, and others as they shall be scheduled.

MERCHANDISING of DBMS-marked clothing and accessories:
___Help with ordering, inventorying, setting up Christmas Boutique, selling at School events;
___Organizing and running a continuous mail-order system.
PUBLICITY & PUBLIC RELATIONS
___Publicizing School events
___Assistance with 'goodwill events', e.g. July 4th parade float, King Caesar House Christmas Decoration, other outreach activities.

GENERAL OFFICE SUPPORT
___Assistance with bulk mailing, data entry, ticket sales and phone support for School events
___Assistance in coordination of School events (other than Opening of the Bay) e.g. windsurfing Day, Classic Boat Day, et al.

ADULT RACE COMMITTEE
___Working with Adult Program Director to coordinate and provide refreshments for sailing events.
___Staffing the Committee Boat; providing mark boat personnel for races.

JUNIOR RACE COMMITTEE SUPPORT
___Assisting Opti & 420 racing coaches with regatta coordination, parent and student communication, sailor registration, transportation and lodging, and chaperones;
___Publicity: write up weekly race results for posting and for newspapers; publicize regattas.
YARD SUPPORT
___Assistance with boat maintenance, inventory, yard maintenance.
GOODS AND SERVICES

___Support of DBMS program for sailing for the handicapped.
SPECIAL EVENTS
OPENING OF THE BAY-DBMS's biggest yearly fund-raising event; planning, organizing take place over several months for the weekend-long celebration in May. It features a visit from a Tall Ship, a Friday evening event, and a Saturday family festival. Volunteer opportunities include:
___Program booklet-soliciting sponsors and ads, acquiring and organizing text and illustrations, editing publishing & distribution...
___Silent Auction - soliciting donations, organizing and setting up, manning, distribution of items to winners...
